<p>Dedicated to 551st&nbsp;prakash purab of Guru Nanak Sahib, Nad&nbsp;Music Institute is pleased to share the album “Rāgs of Guru Nanak Sahib”.&nbsp;&nbsp;The project was led by&nbsp;Bhai Iqbal Singh&nbsp;Rozy&nbsp;(brother of Bhai&nbsp;Dilbagh Singh and Bhai&nbsp;Gulbagh Singh).&nbsp;The&nbsp;album includes&nbsp;twenty Rāgs of Guru Nanak Sahib in the Rababi tradition.&nbsp;The stalwarts of&nbsp;Gurbani&nbsp;Sangit, the seven selected ragis, have presented a musical bouquet of various traditions of&nbsp;Gurbani&nbsp;Kirtan.&nbsp;</p> <p>​Admiring the work, Manmeet Singh (Filmmaker and Musician from Maryland, USA)&nbsp;mentions “Accompanied with a&nbsp;Rabab,&nbsp;Dilruba,&nbsp;Jori&nbsp;and other instruments of the&nbsp;parampara (tradition), these&nbsp;ragis&nbsp;sing ancient music that creates a nostalgia of sounds heard in&nbsp;Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple)&nbsp;generations ago and also inspire future&nbsp;ragis&nbsp;to further this music both in the traditional direction and also explore the non-traditional.&nbsp; Most importantly, for the simple admirers this album will serve the purpose of starting their day, invoking a meditative state and bring peace and bliss in their tiresome routines and when all other music&nbsp;loses&nbsp;its sheen, this with remain&nbsp;pardhan&nbsp;(superior) in our journey to self-realization and discovery.”</p> <p>​</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
