Bhai Gurbaj Singh Puhla
Bhai Gurbaj Singh Puhla is a renowned Raagi and was born in 1992 in Puhla (Bhikhiwind), the birthplace of Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh Ji. From a young age, he was drawn towards Gurbani Kirtan and went on to dedicate his life to Gurmat Sangeet. He received his musical training under the guidance of Bhai Jaspal Singh Ji and Principal Sukhwant Singh Ji of Jawaddi Taksal. He holds an M.A. in Music (Classical Vocal) and Visharad. His style of Gurbani Kirtan includes Classical and Semi-classical forms, incorporating elements such as Khayal, Tarana, and Sargam. He started his professional career in 2010 with his Jatha, which includes Shamsher Singh and Taranjeet Singh. He has served at esteemed institutions, including Gurudwara Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji (Pahuwind) from 2010 to 2011, Chief Khalsa Diwan from 2016 to 2017 and Amritvela Trust from 2017 to 2025. Today, he continues to inspire the Sangat with his soulful Kirtan, keeping alive the rich tradition of Gurmat Sangeet.
