Bhai Jobanpreet Singh (Malerkotla)
Bhai Jobanpreet Singh is a distinguished vocalist and Kirtaniya dedicated to the sacred tradition of Gurmat Sangeet and Gurbani Kirtan, trained under the guidance and blessings of Gurmat Sangeet Acharya, Padma Shri Prof. Kartar Singh Ji. He holds Sangeet Visharad and Sangeet Bhushan from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, and is a three-time University Gold Medalist in Music. He has been performing Kirtan Sewa at Sri Darbar Sahib for the past eight years, with a special focus on tanti saaj and traditional heritage instruments, and has contributed to reputed musical projects such as Sabad Naad and Gurmat Sangeet Prabhakar. He also leads his own Gurmat Sangeet initiatives dedicated to preserving and presenting the sacred musical heritage of Gurbani. Alongside his musical journey, he holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, and is currently a Research Scholar at PAU. His academic contributions include research papers, book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences, where he has also received recognition and awards. A Kirtaniya, scholar, and artist committed to Gurbani, research, and the preservation of musical heritage.
