Natalie Flowers (Sohan Kaur)
Natalie Flowers, now known as Sohan Kaur, discovered her musical talents at a young age, as she was able to pick out songs on the piano when she was just three years old. This early passion for music led her to start taking classical piano lessons at the age of six, and she joined choirs wherever she went. Her first record album was produced when she was only 13 years old, and by the time she was 19, she had begun playing the guitar. In 1989, Sohan Kaur started her own production company and released several recordings. In 2001, she became a Kundalini Yoga teacher and began to explore the healing power of the Naad. She released her first chant CD, the 25th Pauri, in 2009, and it was named after her by Yogi Bhajan, who called her "Sohan Kaur," which means "your inner beauty is you." Inspired by the healing power of the Naad, Sohan Kaur began to travel across the country in a pickup truck, practicing chants while driving through vast and beautiful landscapes. She later became a massage therapist, and her focus remained on healing and the many facets and lessons that accompany that experience. Sohan Kaur believes in the transformational power of the Naad, and she longs to create more chant music in the future. She envisions that the healing power of music can assist people across the planet to wholly embrace light, grace, and peace, accompanied by the gentle sounds originally written in poems by the beautiful Sikh Gurus. Sohan Kaur's music style blends Western influences with Mantras, Kundalini Music, and Sadhana. Through her music and teachings, Sohan Kaur aims to spread the message of peace and love to all.
