Harman Singh (Basics of Sikhi)

Harman Singh is a well-known figure in the Sikh community, celebrated for his passion for spreading the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. As a child, he had the opportunity to learn from various saints and scholars, which laid the foundation for his spiritual journey. He continued to further his education and received a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. In addition to his academic achievements, Harman Singh has also served in the Canadian Armed Reserve Forces as a Combat Engineer for four years. He has since dedicated his life to educating and inspiring others about Sikhism. He is most recognized as an educator and speaker for Basics of Sikhi, an educational charity that aims to spread the word of the Guru to all corners of the globe. Harman Singh is the head of their North America team and has been instrumental in organizing events and seminars that focus on teaching the youth about Sikhism. Harman Singh is widely respected for his commitment to changing the system and policies that discriminate against Sikhs. He uses his platform to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, and encourages others to follow in his footsteps. While Harman Singh is primarily known for his educational efforts, he is also a talented katha performer. His discourses are insightful and inspiring, as he sheds light on the profound teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib.
