Sukshinder Shinda

Sukshinder Shinda, born as Sukshinder Pal Singh Bhullar, is a prominent British-Indian playback singer-songwriter and bhangra record producer. Hailing from Handsworth in Birmingham, England, he has been active in the music industry since 1993, when he released his first professional recording, Dhol Beat Ek. With over 200 albums to his credit, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the Punjabi music industry, including Jazzy B and Amrinder Gill. Sukshinder Shinda has received numerous accolades throughout his career. He also won two awards at the UK Asian Music Awards (UKAMA) in 2006 for "Best Album" and "Best Video", and two more in 2008 for "Best Act" and "Best Album" for Living the Dream. In 2010, he won "Best Producer" at the UKAMA and "Best Producer" and "Best Video" at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards (BAMA), where he was also nominated for "Best Album", "Best Male Act", and "Best Desi Act". He won "Best Dressed Act" at the BAMA in 2012. He has released two albums with religious themes, and his album, Choj Khalseh De, was released in 2013 under the record label Dharam Seva Records/Elite Music. He is known for his soulful voice and sheer brilliance.
